Hi! My name is Andrea and I have been a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard/Waterfront Lifeguard for 6 years and a Red Cross Safety Swimming Instructor for almost 2 years. I currently lifeguard at the Saw Mill Club in Mt. Kisco and the Manhattan Downtown Youth Community Center in Tribeca, NY. There are many ways to get certified, but the American Red Cross offers the highest quality training standards in skill instruction, professional lifeguard responsibilities, first aid, and CPR/AED training.
Getting certified through the American Red Cross has not only helped me get great jobs in amazing facilities in Westchester County, but it has also sculpted me in the way that I always want to help people. Being a certified American Red Cross lifeguard lets me impact people of all ages in their everyday lives by educating them about water safety.
You can become an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor and teach fellow lifeguards, like myself, how to be even more prepared!
