The American Red Cross in Westchester County is celebrating National Preparedness Month by holding lifesaving courses every day at the chapter this month. We offer a wide variety of courses that will benefit both professional rescuers and the community. Whether an individual requires certification for work related purposes or just desires the knowledge to save a life, the American Red Cross has a course available.
Safe Baby and CPR - Made Simple are new, one-hour non certifying courses that will be held the week of September 13th for those individuals who are pressed for time, but still want to learn CPR. Safe Baby is ideal for parents, families, friends or anyone who wants to learn infant CPR. CPR - Made Simple will teach participants how to perform CPR, care for a choking adult and provide critical information to Emergency Medical Service.
